Bed and Breakfast in Big Lake

"Shuttle pick up from airport never came. Waited an hour & even after calling hotel several times shuttle never arrived. The Hotel itself looks worn. Our room was ok but then I looked at sheets on bed & found stains on sheets & pillowcases. Looked as though someone had slept on pillows. Front desk person was kind enough to find a different room which was a little better but just didn’t feel clean. Daughter needed a crib & none available. Staff was nice so that’s a plus. "

"Check-in was was easy and the staff were friendly. My room was stylish and comfortable. The on-site restaurant was excellent."

"MK was rude ,as soon as we walked in. I approached the desk to see if check in was available, before I could get a hello out of my mouth, she said We don't have check in until 3pm. Not Hi, ( this was at 140pm). So we went and sat in your lounge. We happened to go out of the lounge and to our surprise at 230 they were checking people in. The young man that checked us in was wonderful"

"You know there was hardly any breakfast food because they were apparently understaffed, on Mother’s Day all you could have was toast!!! The housekeeping did not come AT ALL even though we were there for three nights!! I had to go down and ask for garbage bags and more towels and put our dirty ones out in the hallway. The hair dryer was completely missing and must have been pulled out of the wall, there were just holes where it should have been. The gym equipment was 1/2 out of order as was one of the dryers. The only staff member that was helpful and at least tried was Joolah. (Hopefully I spelled his name correctly) "

"The renovations in the main area was beautiful but the bedding was less desirable. Poor pillow quality. Food for breakfast buffet was excellent but the dinner food was not very good."

"We had Sandhill cranes that would come to the bird feeder each day. They were so much fun to watch. Great place to stay!"

"TERRIBLE THE PLACE HAD HOOKERS AND IT WAS DIRTY. CALLED THEM TO CANCEL KNOWING DAMN WELL I DIDNT CHECK IN. DONT EVER BOOK OR STAY HERE!!!!! WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!! MONEY EATING MFS"
