"Rustic and simple. Great view - they gave us a room in the A block which had a view of the mountains and trees. Saw rabbits eating grass outside the window. The lobby staff were friendly and provided recommendations for food and visiting the park. Quiet and comfortable bed. Close to Denali National Park and a good restaurant Black Diamond Grill."

Limited blankets, no comforter on bed. Hot water not really very warm. Radiators in room, temperature set 50–55°F at check-in. Coffee available in the lobby but no coffee maker in the room. No breakfast, but fast food restaurants right next door and across the street. Place to stay near airport in a pinch or on a budget."

"The hotel is in desperate need of a remodel. I think the rooms are spacious, but without a bathroom fan, years of moisture have taken their toll. Paint was almost oozing away from the corners where the walls meet the ceiling and bubbling in numerous places-Like something you’d see in a Stanley Kubrick horror film. "Rooms are dated but super clean, in good condition, and an amazing hot shower. Staff very helpful and acted quickly when requested a couple of extra pillows. Located on Seward street so occasional trucks go by but not really loud or affect our slumber. Slept great! Walkable to the marina, close to railroad and Cruise port. Would stay again!"
