Accommodation was perfect everything we needed was there.

Accommodation was perfect everything we needed was there. So warm & comfortable and clean . Very impressed with the whole place. Beds were super comfortable had brilliant nights sleep. Couldn’t fault anything would highly recommend. Even had two horses at bottom of garden that came everyday to say hello.

This is a gorgeous house with a very well-equipped kitchen and well-thought out set of amenities. The bedrooms are large, comfortable, and well-decorated with really comfortable mattresses. The large living room, splendid dining room, and lovely kitchen were loved by all of us. We stayed for a family gathering and there was plenty of space. all of it was well maintained and looked after and there were wonderful thoughtful touches throughout. Also the brownies and prosecco left to welcome us were delightful.The swing in the garden is a particular delight and we loved the seats looking over the valley. It was a wonderful place to stay and we hope to go again one day.Rating: 10/10

An enjoyable short break visiting extended family in the area

The property is located in a quiet, attractive village with relatively easy access to main roads. Large well stocked garden with extensive views across the local countryside. - excellent for our dog. Large sitting room and well equipped kitchen. Easy parking for 3 cars - exit from driveway onto lane was not easy due to limited visibility, although relatively little through-traffic. Only downside of note was the distance between the kitchen and the dining room, although there is a small breakfast bar area within the kitchen if guests are looking to take breakfast at different times. Good communication with owner prior to arrival.

Peaceful location

This property was exactly what me and my family and dogs needed. So relaxing. Perfect location and the house had everything you could possibly need inside. Perfect for dogs with an enclosed garden.

Amazing place

The photos do not do The Long House justice at all. It was the perfect base for me and my family to celebrate my dad’s 80th birthday! It was immaculate and well kitted out with beautiful views from the gorgeous garden. We would love to return one day.

A fantastic house, super-clean and spacious, warm (lovely fireplace!), everything thoughtfully placed and beautifully decorated! The views from the kitchen/living are simply stunning! We spent a fantastic weekend! The only reason it does not get a full 10/10, is because there were a few tiny-tiny things missing, most notably a toaster and a juicer, and a couple of tools for the fireplace (or it could be that we simply did not find them!). Many-many thanks for the brownies, the bottle of Prosseco and the welcome card on our arrival! We wish you great business and we look forward to coming back!
