This apartment was all it was advertised to be. Comfortable beds, a well equipped kitchen and an extremely friendly and helpful owner. Oxford was fascinating and lovely, but we really enjoyed our excursions into the countryside to see Avebury, Kelmscott Manor, Rousham House and Buscot Hall… all with beautiful gardens.
We were very comfortable there after we carried our heavy suitcases up two flights of spiral staircases. Being seniors with bad knees, it was difficult. Everything else about the place was perfect. Very clean and well stocked.
My family and I have probably stayed at 30 short term rentals over the years, and this stay was at the very top! Communication was excellent and the hosts had a very helpful home & area guide. The visit was even better than the photos and spotless. My husband enjoyed chatting with John, and it was so easy to walk 5 minutes to the Harcout Hill 400 bus to take into downtown. The home had everything to anticipate guests needs, from a well stocked kitchen to a pleasant sitting room with board games and DVDs. I would certainly recommend staying here to my closest family and friends.
My friend and I recently stayed in The Oxford Apartments. Ideally situated for Oxford city and Blenheim Palace which we wanted to visit. Blenheim is beautiful and well worth a visit.
The apartment was spacious, comfortable, cosy and quiet.
The beds were amazing and the two en-suite rooms meant my friend and I had our own facilities.
There are lots of nice pubs in the area serving tasty meals.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay again if in the area.

An excellent, well appointed and very comfortable apartment in a quiet location down a private road.The shower in the rear bedroom is not made for tall people but even that was cancelled out by the bathroom on the first floor which has a large walk in shower. All bases covered! A helpful folder for guests and useful reference material about Oxford added to the experience overall. Maybe a guest comments book would be a good addition for feedback and up to date pointers to attractions and local eateries?
We had an excellent time visiting our daughter attending Jesus College. Driving in the country side up to Chipping Campden. Our place was a wonderful place come back after a busy day.

The hosts were very accommodating and the apartment was wonderful. One issue that was not clear in the description is the distance to the nearest bus stop, and that the only bus route into Oxford only goes to the Thames River whereupon you have to walk 500m or so to pick up a bus on the other side. And taxis to Oxford ranged from 20 to32 pounds. Otherwise our stay was great

Great apartment, lots of space!
Lovely apartment, lots of space to spread out. Lovely green surroundings up on a hill looking over Oxford. Was a great home base for our day trips and also travelling into Oxford via the Park and Ride 400 Thornhill bus.
Great hosts, a great escape!
