"This place was amazing. It has been lovingly converted into accommodation with so much attention to detail that you don’t want to leave. The additional Christmas decorations were super cute and appreciated as well as the full service kitchen (with coffee and milk), games and fabulous top floor 360°window to watch the sunrise/sunset, wildlife etc. Highly recommend a stay here. "We stayed here as a base for the Game Fair and it was a great location for that. We didn’t really explore the area much but we did get pizza from The Hertford which was good. There wasn’t any garden chairs and is it was lovely weather this was a bit amid a shame as the domino was in the courtyard a fair bit. The cottage was pretty, tidy, clean and cosy. No welcome package was a bit of a shame as this has become pretty standard for holiday cottages and the garden was overrun with bindweed...

"When we entered our room it smelled damp and was unbearably hot, with little air despite the windows being open and a desk fan on full blast. There was an air conditioning unit in the room but it was broken. We were told we had to prebook aircon. We were given another room after complaining which was in a cooler wing and were supplied an additional fan. This room also had an air conditioning unit but it was not working. We managed to sleep okay with open windows and additional fans but were not overly impressed regarding the explanation over aircon availability. Unlikely to book again."
