There really is something special about crossing the causeway to the island and passing the sand dun

There really is something special about crossing the causeway to the island and passing the sand dunes as you reach Holy Island.. All on the Ground Floor:
Living/dining room: Freeview TV
Kitchen: Electric Oven, Electric Hob, Microwave, Fridge, Dishwasher, Washing Machine
Bedroom 1: Double (4ft 6in) Bed Ensuite: Double Shower, Toilet
Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds
Bathroom 1: Cubicle Shower, Toilet. Oil fired central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included.. Rear patio with sitting-out area. On road parking. No smoking.. This fabulous apartment is on the ground floor of the building and has been updated with guest comfort in mind. Both bedrooms sleep 2 each and the larger has an en-suite shower room for the 2 luckier guests. One bedroom is fitted as a twin and one as a double. A second shower room is provided with central access from the rest of the apartment. The cosy living room has a small fold-out table for dining and will likely be a fabulous place to relax after a day’s exploring. At the rear and with access to a private rear patio for summer dining. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob with the expected modern appliances found in a holiday home.
Lower Bamburgh view is literally in the centre of the village and is a stone’s throw from the shops and pubs, so you’ll not go hungry or thirsty. The excellent eating places on the island get booked up well in advance during busy periods. We recommend that you book well in advance to avoid disappointment. Berwick is around a 15 minute drive and is the nearest large town in the area.
The varied range of activities through Northumberland and the nearby Scottish Borders is massive and whether its sea kayaking, diving, hill walking or beaches or even riding a bike over hills or through woods, the list is endless. The Island with the Priory and nearby Bamburgh with the castle are ’Must do’s’ - don’t forget your camera!
Free WiFi

Please note there may be occasional noise from the upstairs apartment.
If you are planning to have food delivered for your stay both Asda and Tesco provide this service to the island.

Lower Bamburgh View Lindisfarne
I stayed here for 3 nights with my parents who are in their eighties. Everything is on one level so it was perfect for them. I was able to park close by which was a bonus as they have a wheelchair. It’s a beautiful place to stay if like us you just want to be able to have a holiday which is accessible. Lindisfarne is a stunning island to visit and although we didn’t go off road they thoroughly enjoyed their short break here. If you’re a walker you couldn’t pick a more perfect base.
