Perfect Hotel

Great hotel, perfect location near station. Nice modern design, with good decor & comfortable room. Bathroom could do with some TLC, but other then that a ideal hotel.

This is a perfect gem of Americana - think Ernest Hemingway on vacation - with fantastic staff and a great burger joint in the lobby. Fantastic visual details. and an amazingly convenient location right off the S-bahn - you even pass through a perfect platz with bars, restaurants and coffee right on your 1 block walk!

Awkward

Awkward room, small footprint tall ceilings, crowded with fake antiques and a chandelier worthy of Grand central station. There is playful and then there is just upsurd. Cleaning staff walked into the room at 8:00 AM after knocking once. Always a pleasure to be lying in bed asleep and find some complete stranger looking at you with a clipboard. I will not return

A stylish hotel in a fashionable area of Berlin

We chose the hotel mainly because of location. We like the Savignyplatz area very much and the closeness of the S-Bahn was also a plus. The reception was friendly and pleasantly informal. We liked the arty look of the lobby and (with some reservations) our room. By reservations, I mean the relatively cluttered look of the room, especially as it was quite a small room. There was no place to put our large suitcase except the floor and the only surface to use a laptop was a high desk at which it was necessary to stand. But the bed was comfortable and the shower was excellent. Housekeeping was good and the staff in the reception room were all very friendly. The breakfasts were a little hit-or-miss, partly because a young trainee was slow and making mistakes and you could hear him being bawled out by his superior. That was a pity, but dodnlt spoil our experience.

We had a good stay at Sir Savigny. It is a cosy and "artistically furnished" hotel centrally located in Berlin. The restaurant serves a very good breakfast, and the cleaning is impeccable. The only two drawbacks had to do with payment/management: firstly the hotel deducted the first night two months ahead of our stay despite that we had ordered "payment at the hotel". The second issue occurred during check-out when they needed three quarters of an hour to sort the invoices out, and even then it was not clear who had paid for what at which date. To be fair, we were a large group with three overlapping bookings. However, I hope they will improve their management system, and a smile and an apology when these things happen would have provided the stay with a better ending than it ultimately did. All in all, Sir Savigny is well worth the stay.

Keine Freude für mich

Ein schönes Hotel,schöne Zimmer mit tollem Design,zentral gelegen. Damals im SIR bei der Speicherstadt war ich sehr zufrieden. Was mich sehr enttäuscht hat:das magere Frühstück für für 19,50Euro!! Ein Brötchen(Aufbackprodukte) kein frisches Brot,2 Sorten Fleisch& Käse.Kein Fruchtsalat.Heute(20.2)waren die Brötchen nicht frisch .gebacken-von gestern. Meinen Freunden werde ich SIR Hotels nicht empfelhen

Ganz tolles Boutique-Hotel mit einem besonderen Flair und ordentlichem Frühstück. Der ser gemütliche Lobby- bzw. Lounge-Bereich mit Kamin und gepflegten Garten lädt zum dort arbeiten ein. Gerne wieder.

Eine perfekt durchgestylte (düstere) super Unterkunft. Beim Frühstück wäre bei diesem Preis wenigstens eine Sorte echtes Vollkornbrot, und sei es Knäckebrot, unter all den süßen Sachen wirklich fein.
