It was a good location, rooms and bathroom were clean. Breakfast was excellent! We were not warned about construction so there was noise and dust at the entrance to our section.

The property was out of the way from the main Berlin attractions, food and services. Although we were told the neighborhood was safe for walking after dark, it did not feel that way so we either took a taxi home or were in before dark. The last night in Berlin we stayed more central and found these concerns were alleviated.

Location: 10min walk from Lichtenburg S+U, N94 stops nearby. Very close to REWE supermarket, open Mo-Sa 7-23.30! Booked a room with shared WC, bathroom was ok and clean, number of WCs may not be enough during high season. Room simple but modern, no fridge in rooms/on floor. Breakfast ok, served between 7-11, tried the lunch too and it was really tasty (main meals around EUR 10-13, not the cheapest in town but does worth it).

Holi Hostel Hotel review
Everything was in order and we had a pretty good experience. The only issue was the wifi was not working or it was really weak, we could not access to any data. Upside is that the breakfast buffet that was provided the next morning was free and really fantastic! Makes a great start to the day with that breakfast!

Clean. Pleasant. Good breakfast. Since this was a hostel/hotel, I was grateful for the sink in my room. I didn't expect it, so it was a bonus. Of course no TV, no air conditioning. I arrived after check-in time. I had prearranged this with the front desk, and all went well.

Quick overnight stay whilst awaiting other accommodation. Hotel and facilities were very clean and breakfast had huge variety. Beds weren't overly comfortable but did the job. Would still recommend.

Really good hotel for its price!
We spent 2 nights at this hotel and overall we were satisfied. the hotel really worth the money you pay for it even though price may vary depending on the day of the week (one day we paid 36 eur and the next one - 49). But overall everything was good, especially breakfast.

I stayed here from a Thur - Sun in Oct, 2014. It is a 10 min walk from S and U Bahn. This budget hotel is well designed with good security. My check in was swift and my room was ready immediately, despite my early in the day arrival. So a big thumbs up on that! The single room occupancy had a comfortable double bed with a wash basin -very clean. The shower and toilet room was very close and again very clean. Breakfast here is a real surprise. I would say a very satisfactory presentation of food considering the budget price I was paying. My disappointment was that the shower had no hot water for 2 days of my stay. The hotel staff said it was being fixed but the plumber hasn't sorted the matter by the time I was leaving. Fairly, the lady at reception only charged me for 50% of my stay. I felt this was the right thing to do. Overall, I would say stay if you are on a budget but if your stay was shory like mine maybe best staying closer to the attractions and paying more.

Lovely place, nice location
Was surprised about how nicely decorated and clean this place is. Good value! One thing tho.. They decided to stop breakfast one hour early one day with out telling anyone.. So missed out on breakfast that day.. Also another day most breakfast items were finish when we came down and they were not replenished and there was still 1hr 15 mins to go before breakfast was ment to be over. Over all tho a really nice place.

This hostel is conveniently located near U Bahn Lichtenberg. The hostel looks new and the rooms, common washroom and common bathroom are clean. If you are looking for a place to sleep, this hostel is fit for you, as the room is quite small. The breakfast was good with a wide variety. There is WiFi available, but dont expect too much as sometimes the internet did not work sometimes. Besides, there is no elevator. Therefore this hostel maybe suitble for backpackers or small luggage travellers.

Exceeded Expectations
We had booked this hotel/hostel expecting it to be your typical hostel accommodation, but were pleasantly surprised to find that it was much more like a hotel with a great restaurant, and an even better breakfast service. The rooms and shared bathrooms were extremely clean, everything seemed relatively new, and the hotel was super quiet and peaceful. We had absolutely no complaints, but it is worth noting that the surrounding neighborhood, while safe, is not very exciting. Some really great neighborhoods are within a 30 to 45 minute walk or a quick subway trip. The subway is a 5 minute walk away, but stops running fairly early. The reception closes at 10pm, so you have to make arrangements in advance if you plan to arrive later. Also not a problem. All in all, it was a great stay. Great experience. Excellent value!

Vor dem Hotel war während der gesamten Zeit ein Baugerüst. Gleich zu Beginn des Aufenthalts wurde ich darüber informiert, dass es an einem Tag zwischen 9 und 14 Uhr kein Wasser im Hotel geben würde, was bei meiner Buchung sicher schon bekannt war. An einem Abend waren meine Sachen von der Fensterbank heruntergenommen worden und alle Fenster waren geöffnet--so, dass man von außen ins Zimmer gelangen konnte. Die Handwerker, die schon morgens vor meinem Zimmer teils rauchend gestanden hatten (mich umgab auch im Flur des Hostels eine Baustellenatmosphäre und - unruhe) hatten die Fenster streichen wollen. Es fühlte sich an, als hätten Fremde in meinen Sachen gewühlt, was ja irgendwie stimmt. Am nächsten Tag hieß es erneut, dass die Fenster gestrichen werden sollten, aber man wollte bis zum nächsten Tag, warten, weil ich dann abreisen würde. Dennoch waren abends die Fenster (von außen) gestrichen worden, in meinem Zimmer roch es nach Farbe und ich konnte nicht lüften, weil dann ja noch mehr Lackausdünstungen ins Zimmer gekommen wären. Ein anderes Zimmer war nicht frei und eine andere Unterkunft hätte ich selbst zahlen müssen, Es tat allen leid, aber keiner schien die Lage im Griff zu haben, denn es ging nicht um höhere Gewalt sondern um Baustellenmanagement. Man hätte das Zimmer nicht vermieten dürfen, zudem gab es Preisnachlass nur nach Anfrage. Es war wie ein Experiment, wie weit man bei Gästen gehen könne.Schade, das ich mich im Urlaub mit so etwas herumschlagen musste.

wir sind zum eincecken wegen Stauen zu spät angekommen , war kein Problem .das Reinigungspesonal sehr freundlich . Leider war zu unserer Zeit das Hotel im Umbau , deswegen wurds mal eben ab 8.00 lauter ,die Zimmer sind klein aber ausreichend .die Lattenroste sollten mal überprüft werden . das Frühstüch war ausreichend und lecker . Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel sind leich zu erreichen . trotz Umbau eine schöne Woche gehabt mfg. s. christoph

The perfect hideaway in town
The hotel is perfect if you are in Berlin to work with something and want a quiet place to stay- not in the city centre. Modest rooms, but clean and comfortable- and a delicious home made breakfast. I had an art show at a gallery within walking distance, and I felt very safe in the area. I stayed there twice- almost two weeks- and I will definately come back!

Glimrende hotel til prisen
Fint lille hostel med enkelt- og dobbeltværelser og delt bad på gangen. Det fungerede glimrende. Den inkluderede morgenmad var glimrende. Hotellet er ved at blive udvidet, der var dog ingen byggestøj at høre hverken morgen eller aften. Mit værelse var gjort rent inden ankomst men kunne godt have trængt til en lidt grundigere støvsugning ude i hjørnerne. Vi er nede i de små detaljer her. Værelset var generelt pænt og rent. Der var rent og pænt på badeværelserne og sæbe og håndsprit ved håndvaskene. Typisk for Tyskland er hovedpuderne meget tynde. Jeg løste det ved at lægge puderne dobbelt.

Sehr nettes und immer hilfsbereites Personal. Das Badezimmer ist geräumig und sauber. Da es nur von wenigen Personen benutzt wird, für ein Gemeinschaftsbad doch angenehm. 👍
