"Great hotel, newly renovated rooms, quite nice at a great price."

"Super friendly hotel staff! Beautiful spacious rooms. We really only had two complaints but honestly it isn’t a reflection on the hotel. 1. The second night we stayed the fire alarm kept going off. It was annoying but again no reflection on the hotel. 2. There was a group of guests that were extremely rude, not just to us but to the hotel staff. Our last two mornings my husband and son went down for breakfast and only came back with coffee ss some of the guests acted as though they had never seen food before so they piled their multiple plates and left nothing for other guests, we had to go out to eat breakfast which wasn’t budgeted but not a big deal. We were appalled the way they spoke to the hotel staff and other guests. We will definitely be coming back again as BH is where I am from and we come back yearly to visit family. "

"The house was built in the early 1900s and was restored and remodeled with very artistic and creative decor. A very unique house roughly 5 miles from the beaches of Lake Michigan. "

"The 1888 house was perfect for our quiet weekend getaway with our dog. The fenced in backyard is amazing, and the house is adorable. Would absolutely stay here again! "

"This home was generally neat and clean and communication with the host was great! The home is a little warm in the summer, though the home has a window unit that worked well. There were a couple of drawbacks - the beds were not very comfortable and we noticed several spiders throughout the home. There were also no bath products (shampoo, conditioner, body wash) and the location is a little isolated. Not a terrible stay, but could have been more comfortable."
