"The pictures provided of the property were not what we were greeted with. Pool was closed and extremely run down, room windowsills had a sort of black powder on them, stained pillows on the bed. Wasn’t expecting the Ritz but definitely expected more for the price for one night. "

"Orchard Cottage was a lovely stay- it was bright and airy. The cottage has two generous sized bedrooms and living area plus a large bathroom with 2 showers and spa. The grounds are amazing to walk around. And it is not too far from Castlemaine."

Polen was incredibly friendly, helpful, and communicative, making our stay even more enjoyable. It’s not too far from Melbourne, yet feels like a peaceful escape with stunning views, lovely farm animals, and an amazing pool that was definitely a highlight of our trip. We were lucky with the weather and made sure to use the pool every day. It was a wonderful getaway and we’re hoping to come back again."
