"I would never go there again owner was staying vin room behind my room thin walls and ironing board was leaning against our wall and it got knocked by movement on the access door adjoining room 2 as we were placed in room 1 . Owner prince stated that our cabin was not ready so we up graded. Feeling uneasy about the situation we the owner prince was sitting on his lap top in the next room to us "

"The layout and furnishings are basic and definitely not worth $229/night. The hot water ran out after 5 minutes, so that was pooh. Of the dozens of BNB stays, this was the only one that we felt ripped off by and think a $100 should be refunded. 😠"

"Arrived mid afternoon on a chilly May day, the heating was already running for our arrival and a home made treat as a bonus. The accommodation was exceptionally clean, the local dining recommendations spot on, and the spa bath very relaxing. Wished we had more time than the single night we stayed. "We had a fabulous stay at Rooksedge, our room "the Mitch" was beautiful and had everything we needed including our favourite amenity which was the fireplace. It was impossible to not feel relaxed and at peace. Great escape from the city and also close enough to town to grab any bits and pieces if needed. We also loved that we could take our beautiful doggo with us that enjoyed everything just as much as we did."
