Room was dirty, wasn’t cleaned before we got there or while we were there. Had to ask for more towels, never once saw anyone cleaning rooms. Hot water would burn you without even being all the way on, made finding a temperature for a shower painful.

The indoor pool and hot tub area was clean and showers were available. Room needed a carpet cleaning, bathroom and beds were clean. Overall nice enough place with relaxing river views. Hotel is just aging. May be time to do some renovations but not bad and worth the price point.

We like the layout of the buildings, but the bathroom was filthy. Scum on tub, bathroom floor not cleaned, body fluids on the floor, toilet paper on the floor by the bed.

The room was a mess like somebody had a party the night before. There was beads everywhere. I saw dots of blood all over the carpet. I didn’t know what the dots were at first. By morning I was talking to a friend which she happened to stay in the same room exactly a week earlier . She said that was her blood that her ex had beat her and tried to drown her in the tub. The moment I opened the door I felt something wrong early feeling like something evil was inside the room.. I ignored it and went to sleep. My friend called and asked where I was at I told her and began to tell me the horror story. Then it all made sense.

Very old. Our room was very noisy. Could hear AC from above, toilet kept running at random, outside door blew open and created noise. Gym is a joke. All broken equipment. Pool and sauna was nice.

The fury I feel in my soul from paying more than $39.95 for this "River view" room makes me want to slam my head against this patio door, but I'm sure it would fall apart. It's a reasonably long drive-not a walk to the building we stayed at from the front desk; our cards would not work--so we had to do this several times, first round to the door; I literally stepped in animal feces off the sidewalk-hardly no lighting. So I had to get in and out of my car several times and drive up to the front desk covered in crap!! At this point, my husband knew to sit silently while he drove me back and forth to the main building so as not to anger the beast that was growing inside me. I do feel bad for the very helpful red-headed kid at the front desk. The staff service was the only good thing here. As we walked in, exhausted to the bone, the front floor was covered in rocks and dirt. The carpet is covered with seeable dirt and stains everywhere. Old food was in the fridge, and more small rocks were on the 1980s carpet. The room had not been touched or cleaned since the 1983 swingers party that had in there. I pulled back the sheets, smelled, and debated: car or hotel. Lose my money and move to another motel? It was late, I had an illness. Thankfully, I think they clean the sheets. We never took our shoes off, even in the shower, and stuck it out. However, owns this place needs to pay attention and pay their people more. It could be a gold mine due to its location.

The property and rooms are a bit outdated. We got a jacuzzi room and it was clean, the carpets had stained and tiles were cracked around the tub. The experience was still good though. We slept well and the staff was super friendly and helpful! Would consider staying again.

The location was my main reason for staying there. It is only one mile away from my Son’s house that I was visiting. I found out that this property has been subject to bankruptcy in the past and the new property owners have not kept up the necessary expenses to keep the hotel up, thus various problems are showing up in the rooms and the actual buildings. It was also very dirty inside and outside. Also, the restaurant has been closed down. I don’t recommend anyone staying there.

Expedia did great and was great customer service and everything shallow inn is the one that stole money from me without confirmation change it in the computer system in corporate didn't even notice I'm very irate very disappointed on how shilo inn suites and hotels and still haven't received money back

So the first thing i noticed when i got to ky room no garbage cans. Then went to turn on the TV no batterys in remote. Went to front besk they had no batterys. Then had 2 queen beds only 1 pillow on each one. No extras. Then no blankets on the bed. The room needed a nice dusting.

When we arrived to a conference nearby the Shilo Inn the front desk staff seemed a little...sleepy. Which is fine, however, when we arrived to our room for the first time it was COMPLETELY trashed. It was clear there was a squatter in the room and we had to literally run out of the room. It was the scariest experience I've ever had at a hotel. When we told the front desk staff they merely responded with, "I guess we'll need to move you rooms"...umm, no. They were able to give us a refund, but only because we chose the option to pay on site. If we hadn't done that, they said they wouldn't be able to refund!!! It was crazy!

The room was dirty. Very dusty, cobwebs hanging from the ceiling. The shower had soap scum all over the walls and doors. There were multiple lights without bulbs, the remote didn't have batteries. The fireplace didn't work. It was a nice quiet location on the river and the beding was clean and very comfortable.

The room smelled terrible. It was visibly dirty and it felt like it. I stayed in the jacuzzi room as I had two years ago and really enjoyed it. This time felt like it hadn’t been properly cleaned since then. There was gum stuck to the floor in the room, it was sticky and again visibly unclean. It felt and smelled like sleeping in a train station. Worst night sleep of my life. The overall uncleanliness of the room made me feel very apprehensive of the state of the mattress and fearful of the potential of bed bugs. The locations is great and the bones are good but the place needs tlc.

Terrible! The fact that the place was pretty much empty should have been the indicator that we should not even check in.. got to our room and it was terrible, We will never stay here again, we actually checked out early and went to stay somewhere else. Room was disgusting there was vomit ground into the carpet by the bathroom, the shower looked like it had not been cleaned in months. There were actually cobwebs in the shower. We also found bugs in the bed. I don’t know how this place is still open. Stay someplace else. This place is a health hazard.

The property is along the river and has many pine trees among the building. However, they don't supply soap or shampoo, so be sure to bring your own. Also, there is a restaurant on the property but it was closed when we were there and there is no breakfast bar.

Our room was horrible. The carpets were stained with who knows what, the tub was no cleaned, the curtain had burn holes in them, the walls had something splattered on them by the kitchenette, the one chair in the room was tore up, lamps were dusty. We will never go back so don’t waste your money.
