"Lovely cosy cottage, quiet location despite being on a main road through the village.Had to ask for check in details the day before as I hadn't received them.Misled about wood available for an initial burn - there wasn't any - we'd brought our own but didn't have enough for every night we stayed.Bedroom and shower room were excellently appointed.No spare kitchen cupboard to pop our own groceries into. Fridge was difficult to get to with the vacuum cleaner and mop/bucket in the way - and the door opened the wrong way!But it wouldn't stop us staying here again."

"Lovely quiet place to stay with some great walking for the dog. My only niggle which I know you have to have but it is impossible to use the hob for anything fried as the smoke alarm goes off as it is almost directly above it even with windows and doors open. Other than that it was a lovely place to stay"

"We stayed here in October 25 for 4 night, 2 adults and 2 children. The home was immaculate when we arrived, we did not notice anything that was not correct. The home was warmed for our arrival and a lovely breakfast basket left out. The hosts went out of their way to ensure I had the most up to date guide of Northumberland which was lovely and they made sure I had all of the relevant information before we arrived for our holiday. Perfect location to explore Northumberland, Belford seemed to be 20 mins from every place we visited. Will definitely be returning."

"We had a wonderful weeks stay at the Caddy's lodge at the end of August. It is ideally situated to visit the Northumberland Coast; only a short drive from Bamburgh, Seahouses, Holy Island and Alnwick. It is a new build property with excellent facilities ideal for a family vacation. The layout is well thought out with a fantastic kitchen diner and great view. Everything we needed was readily to hand and the host was extremely welcoming. Situated on the edge of Belford, it is also handy for local amenities. Would highly recommend. We are looking forward to another visit."

"Perfect location for what we wanted to do. House is well equipped with modern appliances and decor. Fantastic shower in upstairs bathroom, perfect for 2 couples (and two younger children in bunk beds if you have them). Belford is a small village with very friendly people (especially the Black Swan - great music night on Sunday and Quiz on Thursday if that's your vibe). Close enough to get to towns (Alnwick, Berwick), castles (too many to mention but Bamburgh and Alnwick are the best) and natural history (Farne Islands for birdwatching). Overall a great stay!"
