Really good place for a Northumberland holiday.

Really good place for a Northumberland holiday. Cottage was easy to find and keys were ready for us when we arrived. Barbecue outside wasn't usable as it was full of water but that didn't apply as it rained most of the time. Aviary behind with talking birds! Could have done with some instructions on how to open and close the blinds in the main bedroom. But overall the house was well equipped, comfortable and clean.

Lovely quiet place to stay with some great walking for the dog.

Lovely quiet place to stay with some great walking for the dog. My only niggle which I know you have to have but it is impossible to use the hob for anything fried as the smoke alarm goes off as it is almost directly above it even with windows and doors open. Other than that it was a lovely place to stay

Lindisfarne cottage is in a good location to get around sightseeing.

Lindisfarne cottage is in a good location to get around sightseeing. The cottage had been upgraded and was very nice. The local supermarket was on the doorstep which was convenient as there was nothing left in cottage i.e no washing liquid or cleaning materials, no salt and pepper, no kitchen roll none of the essentials really, everything needed to be bought. very quiet at night and the caravan park was also very quiet. all in all a nice 3days was had by myself and hubby.
