"I had such an amazing stay here. The building is a bit older, but it still has that vintage charm. We were upgraded to the deluxe sweet! It was soooo nice! Clean and accommodating. The views were so nice too! The beach is literally a 2 minute walk from the hotel and its about a 5 minute walk to all kinds of bars and restaurants. The staff was helpful, friendly, and super knowledgeable not only of the hotel but of the area as well. It was everything we wanted and more. Will definitely be coming back! "
"We stayed at Hotel Hermosa in their unique two-story room with the winding staircase, and overall, it was a great experience. My daughter and niece especially loved the separation of bedrooms—it gave everyone their own space and added a fun, loft-like vibe to the stay.
The spiral staircase was definitely a cool feature and added to the room’s character, but it’s worth noting that the metal steps are a bit tricky. It’s easy to bump your head if you’re not careful. Just something to be mindful of.
The hotel itself had a relaxed, beachy atmosphere, and the location is close to the Hermosa Beach Pier, restaurants and shops. We enjoyed that the location was very walkable. Staff were friendly and check-in was smooth.

"I got into LA at 4:30am and made it to the hotel thinking I would have to check in after 2ish and would be exhausted for the morning. They allowed me to check in early and I crashed for a good 3 hours!!! I really really appreciated the early check in. It was above and beyond what any hotel has ever done for me. "
