"The staff was very friendly and we enjoyed the food with a Starbucks located in the hotel. The bed linens and pillows were wonderful."

"The property is very well located with a large good communal rooftop overlooking the beach, and other seating area downstairs which was handy the day we left to sit before we went to the airport. We arrived quite late at night on a Saturday & it was quite noisy (other guests) however the other nights weren't nearly as bad. The self check in process was a bit worrying initially as there was no way to phone the owner if needed with data only sims, however it was no problem. The staff particularly Carlos were exceptinally friendly & helpful. The bathroom is massive The only downside for us was a fairly small room & not really room to open & unpack or store our belongings over the 4 days we were there so we lived out the 2 bags on the floor/ under the bed, a longer stay might have been too hard! We did note however there are some larger rooms, so would try & obtain one of these another time. Overall a nice place & is in the middle of being renovated. The newly done rooms looked really good. The pictures shown on the internet for our room were very acurate. We enjoyed our stay and would return!"

"Really disappointing stay. We spent 5 days here. The water takes 20 minutes to warm each time. There were dried blood stains on my sheets. When we asked for a late check out ( 1 hour later) we were told we’d have to pay $200.00 extra. My husband and I travel a lot in this country and all around the world, and we have never had an issue asking for a late checkout. Save your money and stay somewhere else! There are lots of other really nice places right on the beach with much better service!"

"Property was great. The manager was very helpful with checking in and telling me the parking details. They give you a st parking pass and you can park within a couple of blocks. 200 yards from Hermosa pier and a dozen fun restaurants. Very clean and right on the beach."

"Room was only cleaned twice for our 5 night stay and the first time it was only cleaned halfway (one of the 2 beds made, not vacuumed). 3 of the nights were nice and quiet, but 2 of them were very loud with music blasting until 3:30am and lots of swearing/arguing. Our room also smelled strongly of weed a few times, which is not ideal when traveling with young kids. Great location, friendly staff but not the best hotel for kids."
