"Beautiful building, hopefully will be preserved for future generations. The paint and carpets need redoing, they shouldn't advertise the outdoor pool if not operational. The gardens have a lot of potential. The services provided 24/7 were amazing. The spa and breakfast food were excellent. Didn't see that we had to pay for parking prior to booking but as it was such a great deal I didn't mind. Staff were very professional and welcoming. Highly recommend. "

"The hotel was dated and looked tired from the outside and inside. The images online were very misleading and didn't look like the room that was promised. The room itself was very small but the bedsheets and towels were clean. The bathroom was in desperate need of being regrouted and cracked tiles needed to the replaced. The net curtains were dirty with cigarette holes in the them and there was a layer of dust on the valance. Even though the 'quite' times were meant to start at 10pm, we could still the music from the bar area long after this and we were on the 3rd floor. I've stayed in cheaper hotels that were a better standard than this...."

"The cottage had everything we needed. It was really handy to have a washing machine, outside clothesline and dishwasher. Beds were very comfortable and rooms well equipped. The children loved the loft area and toys. The bathroom was spotless.Parking was really easy and we managed to park right outside every day. Location was great for what we needed."
