My two complaints were the bed is a very stiff uncomfortable matress and (yes im American) the room was very warm. The window opened but it was still too warm for me to sleep even with the tiny fan provided. Not worth the $$"

"The hotel part of the campus is only 3months old and everyrhing is gleaming. All staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Our upgraded double room was large and very comfortable. We enjoyed walking around the grounds and taking a peek into the public room of the castle. The breakfast was also excellent."

"We just completed a trip in Scotland and this was by far our favourite hotel that we stayed in! All of the services and amenities were perfect and we enjoyed the area it was in. It was just a short drive into a Edinburgh. The beds were comfortable, the restaurant/bar downstairs was fun to be at in the evenings and we enjoyed breakfast in the morning. We also really enjoyed having a coffee maker in the room which we quickly realized at other hotels is not common."
