"The cabin was a beautiful and quaint spot that was super close to all the attractions of Big Bend National Park. The cabin was clean when we got there and had a good parking spot for a truck. The outdoor fire pit and grill made for good nights around the fire with some good food. Hanging around the cabin was nice and peaceful. This is a perfect spot to take a couple people up to do some stargazing, as the cabin was in a higher spot making it a great place to sit and stare up into the night. Would highly recommend and will book again for my next trip."

"We loved our little Gun Ship cabin. It was ready for us when we arrived, and even better than we expected. It's off-grid for electricity and water, but we didn't suffer. The A/C worked and plenty of bottled water was provided. There was a TV in the room, but we never turned it on. The kitchen was convenient and well stocked. I cooked twice. This little collection of cabins is in the desert, off the beaten path. Sitting out at night is amazingly quiet--no traffic, no hoard of noisy insects, not even a coyote. We live in the country, but not quiet country like this area. The night skies were amazing. Highly recommend this relaxing getaway! Our dog accompanied us, and we enjoyed walking on the property during the cooler parts of the day. The cabins are on a ridge that narrows and has a trail to the end with views of the mountains and surrounding gorge. It's a short drive to the southeast to visit Big Bend National Park and a short drive to the southwest to visit Big Bend State Park. We had a satisfying steak dinner for our anniversary at the Starlight Theater Restaurant and enjoyed browsing through the Trading Post next door to the restaurant. If you plan to float the river in a canoe or kayak, you may want to check the water levels first. I paid for a trip, but the water levels were very low, which meant carrying the kayak or canoe at least a dozen times. We decided it would be too hard on my husband's back. Wonderful, well-maintained property!"

"Terlingua Sky absolutely earns the high reviews on this site. As is typical for the area, the pictures never really capture how awesome the views are. We caught a storm and fantastic light show the first night and wide open starry skies the second. The place itself is really comfortable, was exceptionally clean, and stocked with everything you really need to enjoy your stay. Each bedroom having its own bath makes this a great option for 2-4 people swinging through terlingua for either a short or extended stay. We didnt really require anything from the hosts, but they checked in with us to make sure we were set, provided clear instructions and were readily available if needed. This is a great value....I highly recommend."
