"This cabin was clean and comfortable and the stay was very pleasant. It hadn't quite registered when I reserved the cabin that it has an outhouse rather than an indoor bathroom. The outhouse was clean and convenient...but, it was an outhouse."

"This was a great experience! Heidi and Barry are friendly and helpful hosts. The cottage is small and perfect for a couple or a family. It was tastefully and thoughtfully renovated, and equipped with everything you need. The bed was comfortable, and the linens and towels were all good quality. The kayaks, rowboat, and paddleboards were in excellent condition. There was ample seating indoors and outdoors. The lake itself is quiet, clean and not too busy. There were walking trails nearby. The location is about 25 minutes to Saratoga Springs and Ballston Spa. This was a much needed peaceful and restorative respite for my husband and me. Thank you!"

Loved the sunrises & sunsets on the water & surrounding grounds had lots of flowers! We enjoyed the local businesses & the new people we met! It was nice & quiet & private which we loved!"

"We stayed here on the night after our wedding. The name "Off Grid" didn't occur to me until after we got there and there was no light switch lol. We were not completely left in the dark though. They did have these battery powered remote lights that gave us nice romantic intimate atmosphere. And they do have this big huge battery bank thing which we could use to plug our phones and stuff in. The space is small and cozy and let's you unplug from the hustle and bustle of the connected world. It's super tranquil and peaceful!"
