Staying in an old time jail! The decor was superb - we thought our room was part of a museum. It was like stepping back in time. The rooms were spacious, the bed (and pillows) were very comfortable.
A fabulous location in the heart of Bardstown meant you could walk everywhere. You could not hear any traffic from inside the rooms.
The breakfast was home made and delicious. A range of breakfast food including fresh juice and fruit. You couldn’t ask for more.

Really helpful staff, a bit of a snag with the entry keys for our room, ended up having to move rooms but these things can’t be helped. The new room appears to have been a smoking room, even though the signage in the room said “no smoking” so the room smelled strongly of cigarettes. Room was very clean, don’t get me wrong, decor was neat and tidy, but the pillows and beds had a heavy cigarette smell. Comfortable enough otherwise, breakfast included, close to decent restaurants and the bourbon...
