From the moment we walked, we knew this was a special place. Our room was spacious, bed was comfortable, and bathroom was pristine. We also enjoyed the breakfast each morning. The location of this inn is perfect, walking distance to downtown, bars, shops, restaurants. Don’t miss dining in the restaurant for dinner, that was a lovely experience too.

Wonderful experience at the Old Talbott Tavern! The staff were so friendly and the property was so interesting! Definitely recommend staying in a suite, the bed was extremely comfortable and don’t miss out on the breakfast. So good!

We loved staying here in the Generals Quarters. So clean and comfortable. The history is amazing and the staff were so friendly and nice. My guys still talk about the french toast at breakfast. We want to come back and stay longer.

The property was excellent, but Talbott Inn Probably needs to mention something about hearing Live Entertainment below rooms 4,5,& 6 while making arrangements. Other than being loud underneath theses rooms, the stay was great. The location was perfect. The balcony is worth the stay as well.

Staff was friendly and told us our room could be noisey due to it being right over bar but should quite down after 11. The noise from bar did , but not from the outside. Street noise and possibly church bells (staff guess when told them) , but really didn’t sound like bells, continued way into the night. The breakfast was just ok. We ordered the traditional. Over easy eggs were greasy, cubed potatoes ( small portion ) and biscuit (only 1 per plate) were hard and cold. Coffee, juice and cereal were self serve. The Hotel was convenient to downtown shops and parking was easy.
