The service is excellent here, and Genaro (onsite concierge) was wonderful. Barcelona is a very dirty city. We definitely didn't love the city as much as we hoped. Easy to get around via taxi or walking. Great breakfast place around the corner (Egg Lab) that accommodated a gluten allergy really well.

It’s a great location to explore Barcelona. It’s close to everything around you and the room is clean and well maintained for the amount of money you pay.

Overall very convenient location, easy access to metro and restaurants. Unfortunately, our room was extremely small and cramped. Photos looked larger and outside patio area looked more comfortable than it actually was.

Check in was a nightmare. The key code wouldn’t work for hours. We were exhausted from our trip but couldn’t check in. Only 1st floor rooms can accommodate 3 people. Those rooms have a window that looks onto a wall. The room felt like a cave. The website photo for a 3-person room has balconies so I thought that’s what I was getting. There is no access to a microwave in the building. Getting the room cleaned during your stay is by fee only. I must say the front desk staff was very kind and exceptionally fluent in English so those were a bonus.

Stayed at Vasanta for a family vacation. It's at great location in walkable distance from Plaza de Catalunya and everything from touristy landmarks and shopping, with many dining options.Property was very clean and quiet. If you plan ahead can get at reasonable price. We enjoyed our stay very much and will consider Vasanta if visit Barcelona again.

Excellent Stay!

Clean and spacious room. Walkable distance to shopping, restaurants. I highly recommend this hotel. Check in process is different from other places so make sure check emails and complete online check in to get the code before heading to the hotel. They get info of all people staying in the room, including minors.

Excellent location, walking distance to plaza caralunya and ridemovi bikes nearby. Great customer service upon arrival. Effective and efficient communication with personnel via whatsapp. Super safe place, clean rooms and nice room view from balcony. I left a jacket in the hotel and as soon as I left I got a call from the personnel and they will ship it back to me.

The hotel is nearby a bus stop, groceries, and places to eat. At the corner of this hotel, there is a Korean BBQ place (I recommend this place also)! If you want to get into your room earlier, for sure opt in for this option either wise you will be waiting until after 4 pm. There are lockers inside that you can put your suitcases and is easy to use. The room we got was very spacious and the bed was nice. The bed size is approx king size and lots of room. We had the view of the streets (at times you can hear noise from outside but is not very loud you cannot fall asleep or wake up to the noise). The only negative thing I would say about this place was lack of extra blankets available in the room. We kept forgetting to ask for extra blankets when we saw staff in the morning or text them but increased the temperature of the room instead and it was very comfortable. There is also a fridge and a safe in the room. I would recommend this hotel to others and return there in the future. The staff were all very friendly and approachable. And the instructions to entering the hotel and your room was easy to use (it is based on key code, if you don’t want to use keycode and want a physical card to enter, this place is not for you).

i mainly got this hotel for the balcony, it was really cute but i didn’t realize how not having a front desk attendant or someone to easily call would cause so many issues. we are from the U.S. and i did not download the Sonder app in advance and once I arrived in BCN I couldn’t download the app because it needed to send me a verification code to my phone and I only had my europe Esim so I wasn’t receiving the code. I didn’t get to download the app and I guess that’s how you ask for things and use your hotel key easier. So that was an obstacle. Can’t imagine older people booking this. I’d rather just stay at a hotel with a normal staff you see everyday and can call on the hotel phone. My sister mentioned her room started to smell moldy at the end of the trip I think it’s due to poor circulation near the shower. Overall sad experience here. The best thing was location.

We were occupancy of 4 in 1 room. 3 adults and a 15 year old. The room we were accommodated with was spacious for 4 of us. Before our arrival, we were procided an online check in to input all our documentation so it was a smooth arrival! The hotel perosnnel also reached out to me via WhatsApp so the communication was so easy and free, especially it was an international deatination. There are so many cafes and supermarkets around. Also the Pharmacy is not too far of a walk. There were local cafes that open at 6am which worked for my famiky because we start early with our tours and exploration. There is a laundry facility 1/2 a block from the hotel which was conevnient! This hotel does not have your expected 24-hr concierge, which was the first time for me to experience,, however I dont have a negative comment. The hotel provide access codes to building and to my room. Extra towels, blankets, pillows, etc are conveniently located to our room so we can just go to the closet and grab what we need. When I needed our room cleaned, I used WhatsApp to communicate with them. The staff was absolutely accommdating! We had 2 reservation few days apart as we travelled to Madrid for a long weekend. They were accommodating to hold our luggages, so we were able to travel light to Madrid for a long weekend trip. That was very nice of them For the price we paid per night and its amenities, we would stay at this hotel again next time we visit Barcelona, Spain

The positives first: the rooms were clean and comfortable and once we were inside them it was fine. The negatives however were numerous. Our family had requested a 4-person room and when we arrived after a long day of travel, we found that the bathroom ceiling was leaking and the floor was completely wet and getting flooded. There is no reception on the premises so we had to call and text to let someone know. It took a few calls before anyone answered thought when they finally did they gave us new codes for two separate rooms, as there was no other 4-person room available. Then in one of our new rooms, the WiFi didn’t work and we called again to tell them immediately. The person who answered said they would look into it but it was never fixed for the entire stay. Also the water dispenser in the lobby didn’t work and they also said they would fix that, but that was not done either during our stay. As I said, the rooms themselves were clean and comfortable enough but the lack of a reception desk on the premises and the inattention to our issues was frustrating. We would not stay here again and I will avoid hotels with no onsite personnel in the future.
