The rooms are ridiculously small. In fact, this was the smallest room I have ever seen in all of my travels around the world (I travel extensively). Worse than tiny rooms in Japan. The sink looked like something from a 1970’s dentist office. Expedia said I would have a double bed. In fact I got two separate beds that looked like cots. They were extremely cheap and uncomfortable. The air conditioning in the room was also broken and when I inquired with the staff about the problem they brought me a fan taped up in a plastic bag. I plugged it in and it did not work. It took three days to get the air conditioning working properly. Similarly, the TV did not work; after two requests to get it fixed with no progress I gave up. The door to the shower was broken as well. This was never fixed despite my requests to do so. The cleaning staff seems incapable of reading or following instructions—on three separate occasions they entered the room without my permission when the “Do Not Enter” sign was on the hallway door handle. On two of those incidents I was completely naked. Great, just great…. Bottom line: Great location, horrible hotel with polite but unresponsive staff. Outrageous price for what you receive. I would never stay there again and never recommend it to anyone.

The staff was very helpful and the location was good. The room was quite small for three people and had very little natural light and no window view, as there was a mostly covered window on the ceiling of the room.

This is a small, quaint hotel that really gives you the feel of being in Spain. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent. The metro is at the front door. You can walk to shops, restaurants, the cathedral and many other attractions. I'm a light sleeper, so you can hear people walking by laughing and having a good time, but I loved it. We will definitely be back for another stay when visiting Barcelona.

Can’t say enough good things about Yassim and the staff. Welcoming passionate and wonderful service. The property however is in need of an upgrade. The beds are the worst of the 8 other hotels we stayed at in Spain/Catalonia. You need to update your bedding…. The rooms are small. The hallways are very stuffy. The place needs a renovation. The best part about the hotel is the metro station next to it.
