Great hotel and area in Barcelona

The Hotel HCC Taber was a great place to stay in Barcelona. It is close to Plaza Catalunya (4-5 blocks) with many restaurants and shops in-between. Casa Battlo is one block away. It was easy to find Ubers/Taxis and get around. The hotel was comfortable and the staff were all very nice. We particularly loved the breakfast. It has so many hot and cold options, including great coffee. It was a great area to be based in for a visit to Barcelona

The Hotel HCC Taber is in a safe neighborhood and it’s only a 10-15 minute walking distance from the Casa Batlló and Casa Milà (La Pedrera). It’s also right around the corner from a lot of restaurants and Passeig de Gràcia street. The staff is also extremely friendly.

Small hotel, great location

The staff was incredibly helpful and professional. The room itself was quite basic but pleasant. Since we were out all day, we primarily used the room for showers and sleep. We didn’t require much from the room either way. The beds were adequate—not the best, but certainly not the worst either. We tried the buffet breakfast for $14 per person one day, but it was below average. You can find better food options in the neighborhood. On a positive note, the location is excellent.

The hotel was fine except the air conditioning in our room did not work well. We even changed rooms in the middle of our second night and the air conditioning in the new room didn’t work well either. The thermostat is limited to a low of 19C but the temperature in the room never got below 23C. It made it difficult to sleep.

This is an amazing hotel! The facilities were clean and had everything we needed. The only issue was that the bed was super hard. However, the staff were friendly and helpful. The location was amazing as it was in the center of everything and easily accessible to a lot of popular spots. Definitely would recommend.

We absolutely loved this hotel. Everything about it was amazing. We had a beautiful woman there to greet us every morning. She was so friendly and helped us so many times with questions we had. We cannot recommend this property any higher. We loved our little terrace we had as well. If we return to Barcelona in future we will definitely be back at HCC Taber for another stay!

Staff is amazing, like 4-5 stars hotel. Love it. We had a small room because of short stay but no concerns whatsoever. Went to promoted restaurant by hotel. Definitely is worth to try. Kitchen is excellent. Would recommend for friends and stay myself again.

My new favourite hotel in Barcelona

No matter how much I pay for a room at a hotel, for some odd reason I’m usually given the worst view, or the less modern rooms. That wasn’t the case of HCC Taber. Although I was staying at the hotel for a very short amount of time, I was given a room on the highest floor with a huge terrace and a breathtaking city view… I was immensely grateful for the kindness and respect shown towards me. The staff was wonderful! The breakfast had a wide selection of food and beverages to choose from. I enjoyed it, definitely worth the price. The hotel exceeded my expectations, I was astonished by the service and the quality. From this moment on, I will only return here.
