The hotel was ok and adequate and the staff was nice.. But the facility and rooms inside were rather shabby and outdated. Yes, lodging in Barcelona is expensive …but I thought the price was way too much given the condition of the property.

The hotel is an older one. It is very clean. The beds were not special. Basic mattresses with no cushion top. The breakfasts had plenty of options. The location was a good location to either walk or catch buses to see the sights. Plenty of restaurants around the area. 2 convenience stores next door to the hotel.

If you’re out exploring Barcelona all day and just go to your hotel to shower and sleep, this is a great place To do it. But if you’re looking for luxury then look elsewhere. The hotel is old and a little run down, but it’s clean and staff is friendly. This was actually my second stay there in 6 months. I knew what I was getting, a clean room, a clean bed, in a nice section of Barcelona, a little outside the craziness of downtown.

Some of the furniture in our room was busted up and the walls were dirty with what looked like shoe marks. The door to the bathroom and hallway was very thin material so we could hear people walking by. Luckily the hotel was not busy and we were only there for a night. 3 star hotel getting a 3 star rating.

The hotel is in a state of severe disrepair. Numerous aspects of the establishment are both deteriorated and unclean. Room 305, where I stayed, was particularly deplorable; the beds, bathroom, floor, walls, curtains, and windows were all in very poor condition. It is evident that a lack of maintenance has led to this situation. The people at the front desk were friendly as far as possible but the hotel itself is not a place I would recommend. Also take into consideration that the attractions are about a 25min walk away. They are not around the corner like in other hotels.

Where do I even start…the rooms are old and poorly maintained, the beds are terrible, the walls are thin and I’m no sure if the guests are louder than the cleaning staff but it’s a close call. The only thing more inconsistent here than the internet is the quality of the service received by the staff, most of whom have no business being in the hospitality industry with their attitudes and demeanor. The only thing ok about this hotel is the price and its location which neither are superb nor worth the trouble. In hindsight I would’ve paid more for a better night sleep and quality stay but you live and you learn.

It's a decent budget option that's fairly centrally located, although about 10 minute walking to any metro stops. Staff are just not well trained. First key on checkin didn't work so had to come back down, and then got locked out by a hallway door being closed that my key didn't work on that same night again. Maid entered my room and woke me up while I was trying to sleep in even though I had the do not disturb on the door. I don't understand why this happens?? Good things: The property is dated, but everything works well, bathrooms are quite nice, very good shower temperature and pressure. Beds are comfortable enough for a short stay. There is a refrigerator in the room.

Classic double room with small window - dark room

Booked last November (2021) this hotel for my trip in July 2022. I have booked the classic double room. If you see the picture of the room online you will see, that there is a big window with light. I was surprised to get finally a room with a small window where I can see just the window of another room less then one metre from my window. Really depressing, also because I booked it more then 8 months before coming to Barcelona. I asked at the receiption 2 times to change my room. They said thats what I booked and all other rooms are similar. But they are not similar. Just look from outside the hotel how big the windows are. I stayed in room 706. Thats the room with really less day light. Then I asked the receiptionist for the manager. I wanted to talk to him. He said that he dont pass his name. Then I asked the receiptionist for his name, but he also did not give me his name. What is this? People who work in the hotel dont pass their names? I am really sad about the service of the hotel. Never had this before in other Barcelona hotels and I am going there maybe 10 times every year. In the room is a safe. If you want to use this you have to pay a fee of 25 Euros. It would be helpful if this information is also online. The bed is a standard bed, less comfortable. Furniture in the room really down, old and should be renieved. On the floor 7 it is quite warm. So close the window and have the air conditioner all day. I am not coming again to this hotel. Service is here not big.
