"Check-in was fairly easy and we were greeted by a very cheerful member of staff. Our room was clean and a fair size. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was good something for everyone even gluten free cereal. There was a coffee machine offering latte cappuccino espresso etc but the coffee was only ok but then I’m a snob. The restaurant attached to the hotel is excellent! Overall we were very pleased with our stay. "

"Lovely property in Cala Gonone. Every single staff member went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and that we were taken care of. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. We stayed in an Economy room on the 1st floor and we’re perfectly satisfied. The resturant at the hotel was fantastic, we ate dinner there twice! Cute bar and lobby lounge area. The pool was nice as well. Overall great stay in Cala Gonone"

"This was a very nice property located on the waterfront. Exceptional value. Off-season so very little open in the area. I may have been the only guest in the hotel that night. This would be a great location in summer for regional water activities. The Festival of Sant' Antonio happened to be starting the same day I was there. The burning of the tree was right next to the hotel The town's people were friendly and shared wine and pastries"

"My room had a lovely view with a cute balcony and the rooms were kept very clean. The bar above was a nice feature and the breakfast buffet had lots of choice. However the hotel being called Cala Luna has nothing to do with the beach it’s named after which is a big miss leading, you still have to pay €5 a day and a 20 min boat to the Cala Luna. "We spent our honeymoon here and it was extremely special. Lovely and quiet which was expected as it was the shoulder season. We were upgraded which made our stay extra special. The restaurant serves beautiful food, the vegetables and herbs are fresh from the gardens around the hotel. The staff were incredible, our Italian wasn’t brilliant but we all made an effort and were able to understand one another. Definitely recommend this hotel if you like your hiking and cycling, or just relaxation!"

"It is a nice hotel although it is quite old. The staff are friendly. Our room was quite spacious with a large balcony and sea view. The hotel restaurant is good for dinner (we haven’t tried but the menu looked good and we heard positive comments). The only thing I didn’t like were ants in the room. We couldn’t keep food outside because of them. The management should sort out this issue. "

"From the front porch, we had endless views of fields and olive trees while we drank homemade wine. The sheep would come home at 7:30 pm every night like clockwork. Cats were always there to say hello. Breakfast was served every morning with friendly smiles. I’m grateful that we could enjoy a little bit of paradise for four lovely days. "
