"Great secret in Bangkok "
Nicely surprised to see the level of service. A quiet place out of the busy city in the city.

"Great Accessibilty; Not So Luxurious"
In a city where you are usually spoilt with spacious rooms and suites, even in the most prime locations, the rooms in the Grand Hyatt veers slightly on the small side. Couple that with synthetically patterned stone tiles in the foyer and bathroom and the room would seem to be in a tighter city in a lower tiered hotel. While most of the room was relatively clean, I can't help but to point out some points of concern. Firstly, there was a dead cockroach at the foyer in one of my rooms. Secondly, there were multiple stains on carpet. The printed bathroom tiles are very disappointing aesthetically. A complete waste of perfectly good stone that would've looked much better in its natural state. The beds were also not particularly comfortable. While there were these drawbacks, there were plenty of redeeming factors too. The hotel is extremely convenient, and is practically weather proof. There is shelter all the way from the hotel to the BTS station and the covered walk way that stretches all the way to Siam. The facilities were also great, with a nice outdoor pool and spa facilities (hot tub, cold plunge pool, sauna, and steamroom). Service throughout the hotel is commendable. Staff were warm and personable. Service was proficient; amenities we requested for never took more than 10 minutes. We had the buffet dinner at The Dining Room which was excellent. Overall, an excellent hotel for practical and business travelers who places convenience and location above all else.

"Really nice hotel next to busy markets"
We (family of 4) stayed on a 2-night stopover on our way back to Aus mid July. We booked in and got upgraded, without saying anything, to a deluxe room which we were very pleased with. Right outside the left entrance to the hotel is Silom street and train station, so we ventured there on the evening we arrived, both sides of the streets lined with market stalls. The next day we asked the concierge that as we only had one day what would be the best sights to see and how to get to them safely. He got a map out and marked the path we should take to get to the pier, take a longboat up the river to Wat Pho (Leaning Budda) and then take a taxi or tuk-tuk back or go shopping. Very helpful in explaining all the what's and where's and should be commended on that fact. The room was lovely, beds were very comfortable, room service impeccable and internet very quick. The room has the glass pane between the sleeping area and the shower, but didn't find that a problem as I just pulled the curtain. Would definitely recommend to anyone especially families.

"Nice hotel, good location in Siam area "
We stayed for 3 nights in a very comfortable room. Although close to the BTS Skyrail and the central shopping area the rooms are really well soundproofed and noise didn't disturb us. The rooftop bar and pool are really good and a wide choice of foods served from the breakfast buffet. Friendly and helpful staff too

"My top choice for a Bangkok hotel"
Beautifully appointed hotel. Everything and everyone is top notch. Bell desk was helpful in getting my luggage to and from my room expeditiously. The entryway greeter/door opener was always cheerful and pleasant. The front desk staff was courteous and warm. Housekeeping staff prepared and kept the room clean, comfortable and elegant. The breakfast buffet staff displayed an eye popping and scrumptiously cooked meal to start the day off right. I was checked into a newly remodeled room which had a lighter color palette design than an older room I had stayed in the previous week. It was a very relaxing tone with gorgeous new lighting fixtures. The remodeled bathroom was gorgeous as well. For Easter Sunday, a holiday themed confectionery plate was awaiting me upon my return to the room. The daily in-room fruit plate was always a refreshing treat after being out in the heat of Bangkok. The fitness room, with a locker room that includes a steam room and jacuzzi soaking pool, had up to date equipment. Also provided was morning time fresh fruits, juice, milk and a specialty coffee maker. The swimming pool staff always made sure that a bottle of cold water was offered along with fresh fruit. I look forward to returning to the Anantara Siam Bangkok in the near future.

"Next to BTS station."
Shower temperature is inconsistent. 4 stops from Asoke BTS, which connected to Terminal 21 shopping mall. The hotel surrounding is not busy and crowded like Soi 4 to 14 yet it is only less than 10 minutes away via BTS. Breakfast is above average. Staff may not be attentive. Near to Ekkamai where you can find many restaurants. I would rate this hotel above many other hotels along Sukhumvit road because the rates are reasonable when booked online and the room is spacious.
