"Beautiful clean hotel with helpful staff and stunning views. Nothing much there but if you want quiet relaxation or a clean functional hotel whilst on a road trip through Portugal then this is the place. Restaurant fine for evening meal and good breakfast"

"Property is nice, but style is somewhat dated. I was getting a 2010 vibe. Just passing through Chaves, stayed for one night. Room was clean and we didn't have any issues. Only had interaction with front desk staff for check-in/out, and they were nice. Outside was a bit noisy at night, the property is right in front of a roundabout."

"It's a calm, casual place with class. Good restaurant. But its more a mix of old and modern than the photos makes you believe. Bedrooms and restaurant are in moderne additions, but it works well."

"Fantastic experience in a great place, and restaurant. I want to highlight that, in particular, my wife (who is celiac) enjoyed her time considering the special care and the way that she was protected by the place’s owner through a special menu prepare to her. "A hotel set in beautiful surroundings. The staff were very friendly and welcoming to us and the dog. The room was a good size and had a balcony with a hammock and lake view. The breakfast was good, with freshly cooked eggs. The food in the evening was a bit limited; only one choice of a main meal but there were numerous bar snacks and sharing platters. Not really a problem though, as there was a restaurant 5 minutes walk down the road. In all a very enjoyable stay"

"Very basic but a quiet and clean place with very nice staff. If you need to stay in Chaves for a night this hotel is great - walking distance to the city Center, parking space around, the room clean. "
