"This is truly a little gem! A fairly newly opened hotel, a small hotel of 5 rooms with personal charm. The staff mentioned that the plan is to complete the construction and add another 5 rooms. Located above a quiet restaurant in a very quiet area just outside Hikkaduwa, right on the beach so the waves and the beach are your table neighbors at breakfast. "The room was very clean and the staff were all very helpful. The hotel is luxurious. Two beautiful pools and very good food. The views are stunning over the ocean. The beach is not suitable for swimming due to heavy surf and a strong side current but Talpe beach a 1.5k walk or tuk-tuk away has a safe beach behind a reef. "

"Room was excellent, food & drinks were great, staff exceptionally friendly and curteous. Hotel is a little remote, but that's the appeal - 20 min walk into the local town / beach, and 10 minute Tuktuk back up the hill. (Usually LKR 500 - £1.25 or thereabouts)"
