"Very cute hotel in a small town. The hotel was small and easy to find and the rooms were big considering the size of the hotel. The only thing I would suggest is that if you’re not fluent in German this might not be the best place. The staff tried their best to communicate and answer questions and having a translation app on our phones helped. "

Less than 2 hours later we received an e-mail that said they couldn't give us the room, but they offered us 2 rooms for the same price. The rooms was large, with a kitchenette and plenty of room. The hotel area itself is beautiful, by the lake and with a big recreational area. We will definitive be back. "

"Comfortable bed and quiet rooms. Nice offerings for breakfast for a fee. No coffee in rooms or refrigerator like American hotels. Hotel is U shaped and outdoor space has lounge area for smokers. Inside lobby nicely decorated minimalist modern. 15 minute walk to airport and S-1 trains to Hamburg Hbf central. There is an EDEKA market in airport concourse that has a great assortment of food and necessities; also connected to bakery for sandwiches, pastries and coffee. Other than that and a Starbucks it is a distance to restaurants and 20 minute train ride to city center and port of Hamburg. I would stay here again for ease of location and a quiet safe place"
