"What a hidden gem of a place! The room was lovely, very clean and John was absolutely lovely to deal with. Only a short distance to some lovely beaches too. The rooms themselves had everything you would need for a self catering holiday. Very clean and tidy and I would not hesitate to recommend to friends and family. We will definitely be back for more visits in the future. 5 star ratings for everything."

"A beautiful, well equipped, clean and comfortable cottage, ideal for relaxing and switching off from the stresses and strains of everyday life. We even lived without the internet for the whole week! Lovely welcome from Pete and Bev, including a variety of ‘goodies’ to help us settle in. Much appreciated after a long drive from the midlands. The remote location is perfect for encouraging a variety of wildlife, the highlight of which was the nightly visits from Mr Badger, eager for his food....

"The cottage was superb, had everything we needed and the patio/garden was perfect. Loved the views as well as the dog walking areas. The location was spot on, only 15 minutes to Lyme Regis and very close to Axminster, Chard and Honiton. Perfect for checking out the coast. The owners were very friendly and messaged us all the details in the run up to our stay. Thank you."

"The moment we arrived, we were overwhelmed with the outstanding beauty of the countryside and with the quality of the hotel which was also very spacious. We felt very pampered by the facilities provided. Maria in charge of the breakfast showed unprecedented professionalism and was very welcoming. I would have liked to have seen a few seats scattered around outside, other than just by the clubhouse. Nevertheless we will definitely be back. Thank you to all the staff."
