"The private villa was immaculate. The views of the coast from the terrace were unbeatable. We were served a delicious breakfast spread of our choice right on the terrace connected to our room every morning, including the day we checked out. The villa staff provided us with free transport to-and back from their related property in Scala for a very special dinner, greatly appreciated because Ravello is up in the mountains and there are so many stairs! The driver was kind, provided some history on the area, and pointed out interesting spots to explore. The staff stored our luggage and arranged transport down to Amalfi coast to take the ferry at the end of our stay (you cannot bring luggage on the private shuttle). There is a public bus and private shuttle (Amico shuttle) stops nearby to easily go up-and-down the mountain to the beach if you're too tired to climb the stairs or if walking isn't your thing. This was the nicest place that we stayed during our entire Italy trip and it really did feel like a "Home sweet home.""

"Location is good, just across from the beach. Be aware that is a long walk from the port specially if you have multiple suitcases. You can arrange a ride on a golf cart at EUR 5 per person. Room is of a good size, Pillows are bad, not matter how many you get and the mattress is average. A/C runs or does not via a switch, no thermostat, but gets the job done. View if you get one is second to none . Noise from the street is likely better than any other in town due to the location, that is. plus. I would stay again. Breakfast is average, Coffee..., I can almost drink anything but I would consider switching to chocolate or tea for a few days, yep, it is that bad."

"We loved our stay here! Free breakfast was very nice and hotel staff was friendly and helpful. It is a great location to enjoy the Amalfi Coast area without being in the heart of the busyness- Ravello has the same charm with much less people! Only negative is that the pool water was way too cold to swim. Other than that it was very nice."

"The only reason I gave the staff 3 stars was because one staff member was excellent and that was Fabio the staff member who was just ok was Elena. Fabio went above and beyond to answer our questions and get us what we needed. Elena seemed inexperienced and did not go out her way to help us. She simply answered “I think so” or “I don’t know “ I even had to ask her to look something up for us because she was just going to say she didn’t know and that was it. It also could have something to do with her no being able to communicate in English that well. I think this should be a requirement for someone working at the front desk. Also we could not even open our door to look at the view because people were smoking by the front of the hotel and the smoke was rising up into our room. If this is a no smoking hotel something needs to be done to keep the smoke away or we should have been given another room."

"10 minute walk from the station, similar to the port where you catch the ferries and also about the same distance to the old town and restaurants. So it’s a brilliant location. My only criticism was the breakfast which definitely wasn’t 4*. Very basic in all respects for a 4* - that’s my only criticism. They need to improve that to be a true 4* otherwise a good choice."

"It was a lovely hotel. We came here for our honeymoon and we loved our stay. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating. The local kittens outside the hotel were a plus we were not expecting! The staff kept our room clean when it needed it. Although we didn’t using the items in the mini bar, they are reasonably priced. Breakfast was always well prepared in the morning and they will serve you cappuccino upon request. Bring your own towel for the pool, otherwise you’ll have to buy or rent one from the hotel. The stairs to Amalfi or Ravello are no joke so prepare to burn off the calories you gain from the local restaurants. The WiFi is not the strongest but it was a nice way to disconnect if that’s what you need. The local restaurants in Pontone are very good and you’ll not be disappointed with their services. The scenery from our room’s patio was beautiful and unmatched. They do not have a shuttle service but have information to a local taxi service who’ll help you get to/from your hotel. Overall, we loved it here and would stay again. Highly recommended."
