"The property is in an excellent location with easy access to the beach and local restaurants. The bungalow was spacious and comfortable for our family. We spent a lot of time on the patio and the pool was refreshing after a day on the beach. Dave was very helpful and made our stay easy and enjoyable. Highly recommend! "

"This is a great property and Juan, our host while on site, served us great breakfasts and was extremely polite and accommodating with any needs or desires. I love this property and will be staying there again and as often as possible. There is some construction on both sides of the hotel that might bother some, but it just wasn’t an issue for us. We were out exploring, beaching, and surfing during the day. Rooms, parking, and proximity to town were fantastic! "

"We had minor issues with AC being always on, and the thermostats not kicking in. There was also a clog in the AC unit and cause leaking from the ceiling.
The road to the resort needs work. There is a 10 minute stretch that’s really nerve wracking if you are coming in for the first time when it’s dark, and you worry about the damage to the vehicle.
Other than that, it’s a great place and does deserve all the 5-stars. "

"Great House, has everything, 10 min walk to Avellana Beach, The property is only 5 houses, so you are in your private secluded area, the house has 3 room with AC split system, well equipped, Dennis was always there for any question, there is a tree in the back of the house that always have several monkeys jumping or relaxing. Avellana town its a really quiet town, will be back thanks again for this wonderful place"

"The resort is gorgeous. The rooms are clean , beds are very comfortable. Definitely Great to have the pool right outside the door. Odd set up for the 2 bdr villas.. when you enter through the gate you have a common outside small table and 4 chairs and on each side of that is a sliding door..to the right ...a kitchen with 2 single beds and TV, no bathroom. So whoever is in that room has to come through the queen bedroom with people sleeping to use bathroom . On the left queen bedroom and bathroom, no tv. So when those people go to bed no tv to watch. Also, the shower is outside which was cool, but the door to the bathroom is locked and if you wanted to leave it open ..there was just enough gap for lizards and bugs to come in . And no hooks to hang your towel and clothes.
The units definitely need more hooks to hang towels up or a retractable clothes line. We had all our stuff drapped all over the chairs in the common outdoor space. Which was hard to sit at as they were all covered in wet stuff.
Also needs more hanging hooks for clothes in other room with the kitchen ....and more cutlery options like a good cutting knife , bottle opener, wine opener ..etc. Basic utensils only, no dish soap to wash dishes"

"This was the perfect place to unplug and chill. Doris and Johnny did an excellent job of creating a cozy oasis. It was the perfect balance of private space to do our thing, and common space by the pool to connect with other guests when we wanted. Doris is delightful and answered any and all questions we had, accommodating our every need. The location was fabulous...in walking distance to several restaurants, and a magical mangrove leading to the beach. We are already making plans to stay there again next year!"

Beautiful fusion of local hardwood winding stairs, floors and doors/trim with traditional concrete/stucco walls, concrete downstairs/patio and bathroom floors with concrete counters and kitchen island.Bedrooms with ac and openable windows; lots of glass.Patio great in mornings and evenings to enjoy nature."
