"My husband and I took our family....four children, spouses and 10 grandchildren. It was amazing. Plenty of room for everyone, very clean, fully stocked and plenty to do. I would recommend Big Bear Lodge to anyone and everyone. (The hot tub and fire pit area were a big hit )"

"This was a great place for our annual family getaway. The house was very nice, very clean and very well stocked with plenty of dishes, pots and pans, silverware and utensils, even a well stocked spice cupboard. Our son and son-in- law enjoyed the use of the kayaks. The bedrooms were nice and had comfortable beds. One thing to keep in mind, is that the air conditioning consists of window units in each of the bedrooms. The main part of the house was fairly comfortable from the cooler nights we had prior to the heat wave that came in the day before we left. The host was extremely responsive to any messages that we left. Overall, a very good time was had by all."

"Beautifully well-maintained property, nice, clean rooms, short drive to downtown shops and beaches, wide variety of restaurants. We had no volume on our television. The front desk was friendly and helpful; however, they couldn't figure out what was wrong. They offered to switch us to another room, but it would have moved us away from the other people in our party. Kyla texted us daily to see how our stay was going and if there was anything they could do to make it more enjoyable. We appreciated the open lines of communication. Breakfast was delicious every morning. We are looking forward to staying with you again in September when we come back for more fire department training at the community college."

"This was an amazing place. The lake is beautiful and so peaceful. It was perfect for our group with kids and young grandkids. The porch on the back with table and comfy furniture was great for sitting in evenings. Loved the large windows looking out to the lake. The lake was great for fishing and so quiet there were no worries with taking our young kids out on kayaks. Sleeping arrangements very comfortable and the kids loved the bunk beds. The yard area was big enough for them to run around in and the lake was shallow for quite awhile so playing at lake edge was great. It is not a sand area by lake but the kids didn't care about that at all. Was great to just hop in a kayak go fish and return. The little loved taking their small kayaks out just past the dock and back alone, a first for them. The little circle drive and quiet drive back to house was perfect for bike riding with the grandkids. There are quiet dirt roads for adult bike riding. The yard has plenty of shade but also sunny areas if want to soak up sun on shore. We would definitely do this again! None of the kids wanted to leave. Everything was clean and host super friendly. If we had any questions they responded quickly and were super helpful"

"Super cute home. It is stocked better than 90%of the vrbos we have rented. The coffee/snack station was an unexpected surprise. The cut flowers were a thoughtful touch. The view of the lake from the sunroom was spectacular. We used the kayaks and the lake is so quiet with only a few boats on occasion. My husband caught 3 pike right off the dock. We made a fire one night too. Our bulldog enjoyed the spacious yard. Thank you so much for sharing this home."
