"The first night we had a power failure the second night we had water shut off because of a leak the third night. We had a fire alarm go off at midnight. The golf course is beautiful and challenging. The resort needs some money put into it for updating."

"Our family absolutely loved staying on this property on Clear Lake!! We did a few day trips while we were there, up to Mackinac Island, and up to see the pictured rocks of Lake superior. The lake house was more beautiful than it is in the pictures! The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything that we needed, and the deck by the lake was amazing! We used the kayaks, went fishing, swam a lot, used the fire pit, and walked the trail around the lake. We will definitely be back!"

"This is our 2nd time staying here. We really love it. Good location. Very clean. House is large and spacious for a big group. Exactly what the pictures show is what you get. Kids love the pool, game room, and huge sidewalk to ride bikes! Moms love the kitchen! Can't go wrong to stay here and I can be picky about cleanliness. Washer and dryer on property is nice too. Kim gets back to your right away with any questions!"

"Would not recommend staying here in the summer. I knew there was no air conditioning in the listing but thought being on the lake, at night, with the windows open, it wouldn't be a problem. The problem is, the bedroom windows were sealed shut, and it was 78-80 degrees in the house even with the patio doors open. I politely asked the owners if they could turn the air on (there are units) and the reply was a sarcastic response about how I didn't read the listing. Speaking of the listing, the photos are deceptive. The lake looks more like a swamp right now, and the photos conveniently left out all the deer and antlers on the walls. Also, 4 towels for three people for four nights was inconvenient. The listing says one of the bedrooms had two queens, which isn't the case.Over all, good price but didn't know we'd be sweltering all night without the windows opening."

"Such a peaceful lake property! Although we didn’t really catch a lot of fish we had a great time relaxing by the water. We loved listening to the loons everyday. We’ll definitely keep this property in mind for future trips up north!"

"The property is beautiful and very serene. Love the country atmosphere and the chickens add a country flair as well. The home is equipped with everything you need and also plenty of outlets and adaptors. Very clean. Air conditioning is nice. There is a little store about 5-7 minutes away. Host was available with answers to questions if you need them answered. We would definitely consider staying again. We had a family reunion for the weekend and it was just around the corner from the home so that was ideal."
