"A beautiful little cottage! Our host made sure we had all the comforts of home. Communication was wonderful. Clean & cozy! We enjoyed walking through the trails they made on the property. Only a hour away from Acadia National Park. Wish we had time to stay longer!"

"If you are looking for a beautiful quiet spot to get away this is it! Very accommodating host, needed something that wasn't in the cabin and host almost immediately brought it over and made sure we had what we needed. Thank you!"

The building is a bit run down and looks tired. Can definitely do with some upgrading. However, while this might be a downside, the great UPSIDE is that this is a very well maintained hotel. Although the carpets, building are old, they are kept very clean. The sheets, towels, bathroom, bedroom, are all very clean. I like the sheets .. very clean. You wake up to some really peaceful tranquil view at the back - it's right next to the river. Beautiful.
