"We felt welcome from the moment we arrived. Check in quick and simple. No need to register our car as it was a secure and private car park and no parking charge. The car park was locked at about 22:00hrs but a code was provided to allow exit/entry if needed. We had booked a superior room and it was. "As a Part of the Eurostar tunnel strike, we unexpectedly wound up in Calais and were well taken care of by this no frills hotel! "We chose this hotel as it was close to the ferry terminal but not within Calais itself. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was really nice. Reminded us of a ships cabin. Large enough with everything we’d need for a short stay. King bed was comfortable, ensuite even had a bath. Safe and easy parking right outside, and only a short walk to Cite d’Europe shopping centre. "

"The hotel ticks a lot of boxes for a Calais hotel, it’s convenient for Le Shuttle, has charging points and is dog friendly with lots of places to walk to dog. Service was average we arrived early at 2pm and it was a flat NO to early check in without any effort to expidite it. I ordered drinks at the bar and the waitress was polishing cutlery she saw me but made me wait 5 mins whilst she finished the whole lot of it. Rooms were clean and well maintained. "

"Lovely little hotel. Very personal touch service and we were made to feel very welcome. We do not speak any French but the reception staff were more than happy to assist and accommodate us.
