"This was a very cheap hotel for one night and so you cannot expect very much but it was not great. Staff were very lovely and helpful, but the room smelled odd, the bathroom did not lock and the bathroom was not clean. I have stayed in similar hotels before which were cheap and cheerful but at least clean and maintained. A shame, just needs a bit of TLC "

"Large bedroom and bathroom with hair drier but no tea or coffee making facilities and no kettle. N look lift to first floor. Rather dated decorations throughout but otherwise convenient and quiet. Good reasonably priced food at restaurant Charlemagne. Good breakfast but a bit pricey "
