"It was a really nice hotel, the room was great with the in-room bath, the staff were excellent and the meal was delicious. The only issue was the size of the hotel, it was just a bit too big with too many guests to feel like a traditional Ryokan. Breakfast was also really crowded and it didn’t feel very exclusive."
"Property is very nice. Rooms are very large for Japanese rooms. The staff in the reception area were nice but at the same time gave a weird vibe. The hotel itself had a stuffiness of “old money” . Even though the restaurant in the hotel was well reviewed we had a bad experience there. Drinks were messed up as was the servicing of the food. The experience was not good at all. To the point that we cancelled the second reservation that we had in the Japanese restaurant at the hotel. We all got massages and those were very good. Overall, had hoped for a better experience considering it was a five star hotel."

"Staff were very helpful yet limited in their English language proficiency. The breakfast option was good but difficult if you have any food allergies such as celiac disease.
