"I love this sweet little inn sited on a small lake in the Berkshires. It's affordable, exceptionally clean, and the staff is outrageously helpful. Highly recommend."

"Second time staying. We like that dogs stay free, and that they can run outback. Nearby hiking. Easy parking. Check-in is easy. But, it’s ultimately a dingy roadside motel with a funky coat of paint, and a vintage photo on the wall. Shower had hair on floor, wall, and curtain. Soap dispensers (what is this a public bathroom?) were covered in grime. The rolling shades fell from the window when I tried using them. I don’t think we’d come back. Place needs a refresh. "

"The staff was friendly and helpful. You could tell the rooms had been updated. Things were clean, the bed was comfy, and breakfast was simple but good. The pool wasn't open yet, so I can't speak on that. Overall we had a pleasant stay."

"Clean spaces. Well done renovations compliment charming older features. Breakfast had variety and freshness each morning. Generous tea and coffee availability. Outdoor heated pool--we missed out on due to shorter stay, but others enjoyed. Would plan some time there and in the sauna on next visit. The building was a highlight though, beautifully and thoughtfully renovated. "
