"What a lovely room and building. Really enjoyed this hotel. However, the neighborhood outside the hotel was very sketchy and clearly there is an issue with drug addiction in the area. I ate at the restaurant within the hotel and went to and from my car in the gated lot. I enjoyed many other towns in the Berkshires, but Pittsfield was not one of them. Wish this hotel was in a different city, as I would love to stay there again. "

"I recently stayed in a one bedroom suite at this villa property and unfortunately the experience was disappointing, especially for business travel. When I booked the reservation, I expected the main amenities such as the clubhouse to be easily accessible. In reality, the clubhouse sits on top of a hill. While there is temporary parking directly in front of the entrance, the designated guest parking is located at the bottom of the hill. This means guests either have to walk up a steep hill or climb several flights of stairs to reach the clubhouse. This setup is very inconvenient, particularly in cold weather or when carrying items for activities like swimming. I also experienced maintenance issues in the unit. I reported a clogged faucet and maintenance came to address it, but the problem was not actually fixed. Instead, the clog appeared to shift from one side of the sink to the other, eventually causing unpleasant debris to come back up through the drain, which was unsanitary and frustrating. The location is also quite isolated with limited nearby restaurant or dining options. While the condominium setup may work for guests planning to cook, it is not ideal for business travelers who need convenience and easy access to food and services. Overall, I would not recommend this property for corporate travel."

"We very much enjoyed our night at theThe Porches Inn. Check-in was easy, the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The shower was the best rainfall shower I have ever had and we even had a claw foot bathtub! The only drawback to our room was proximity to the main entrance door of the building which could hear opening and closing. We would have liked to use the exterior hot tub but it was not available due to pool renovations. We were able to enjoy the sauna and shower as an alternative. The breakfast was ample for a "continental buffet". Lastly, the free car charging was a life saver! I hope I have the opportunity to visit again."

"Room was pretty clean, was a dark mark on the sheets like a pen had exploded somewhere in the washer/dryer. We came in to the room and the bathroom sink was running and luckily we got in there in time to turn it off and open the drain to prevent a flood. Staff was super friendly and super busy, they deserve nothing but respect for all they do! We always saw them doing something and keeping busy so we appreciated it. Overall would stay again!!!"

"OK, the hotel needs updating, but the staff was so friendly and helpful it didn't even matter. We parked our car, walked everywhere, 2 min to the Colonial theater! Insider tip, if you buy a breakfast tix from the front desk it's less $ than paying at the restaurant. "

"Room was comfortable and quiet. Staff accommodated a request to change rooms after check-in as we discovered there was someone next door who was constantly on the phone speaking loudly in a voice that carried on something business related. Relocating us was very appreciated."

"Great location. Within walking distance to MOCA, and a few restaurants that were open during our stay. The town is post industrial and post manufacturing. Walking around MOCA is a wonderful experience in itself as much of the history of the building and surrounding area comes alive and is fascinating.The exercise room is small. Not crowded. The pool was in use most of the time we were there as the pool is used for children's swimming lessons. We didn't want to use the hot tub with a bunch of kids and parents splashing around. Good staff and very responsive. "
