"Beautiful view of the lake, if you get a room with the view, also you can rent a boat, or drive to the nearby
beach
. Very friendly greeting/check in staff. They keep it pretty clean, but it looks like this hotel has not been updated since the 70th. Breakfast area is very nice, with a large window facing the lake, but the food is from a supermarket shelf, some cut into pieces. Coffee was great though. Convenient location to stay if you're going to Tanglewood. "

"My partner and I enjoyed everything about our stay. From the staff, to our room to the location. We were greeted with a bottle of wine and a quick walk through about the location. Nothing that took too much time to go over. The breakfast was absolutely delicious Cathleen and the kitchen staff were absolutely amazing on ensuring that we felt welcome. I absolutely recommend this location for its beautiful lake view and easy access to the
beach
lake. We were not able to enjoy the lake as we wanted...

"The room is large with high ceilings and lots of windows. Shared balcony is a nice feature. It’s an old building and so it definitely feels of the era. The furnishings could be updated. We were surprised to see Folgers coffee. Overall a good value in this little town. "

"First trip to the Berkshires and we wanted a spot with easy lake access as well as good access to many towns. This house had that, you just can’t walk anywhere from the house, or take a walk bc of the road it is on. It is clean and well-appointed. Mattress in one bedroom is a bit wobbly, but other beds comfortable. So great to be able to bring dogs. It is not directly on a lake(have to cross the road), but does have easy access that is a 5 minute walk to a sweet little private
