"Hotel was great and really enjoyed the onsen being on site. Beautiful views of Mount Fuji! If you have an early train, be sure to book a ride well in advance with the hotel or you may have issues finding a ride. I would also recommend using your own luggage delivery service and not the one provided by the hotel. Sagawa broke our suitcase and we spent the next 3 days in our new location dealing with it."

"Incredibly spacious rooms, a beautiful onsen that’s open early and late in the day, it’s a wonderful hotel! The building is noticeably older but everything is extremely well maintained. There is a Familymart just a minute’s walk down the street, along with bus stops that will take you to all the local attractions with min a ten to twenty minute ride! The views of the mountains are stunning, just a great and very affordable place stay (the hotel buffet breakfast is worth paying for, too. Great selection!)"

The ensuite onsen in the room balcony was absolutely incredible. I spent hours in there! The food was amazing. The breakfast buffet was delicious, but the dinners in the dining hall in the annex were absolutely amazing"

"This is more than a hotel, it's like being in a dream of relaxation and beauty. From the moment we arrived, the staff were so welcoming and accommodating. Our room in the annex was gorgeous with every amenity we could have asked for, the tub was perfect, and breakfast in the morning was delicious. As we soaked and in the morning during breakfast, we gazed out on the mountains as the storm passed, and it was like being in a beautiful film. I can't compare this hotel to anywhere else I've ever stayed. It's is utterly unique and truly perfect."

The rooms are big and the private onsen was the perfect way to start the morning and relax after a day outdoors. Beer on tap & you can mix your own drinks. "The Onsen (hot spring facilities) was fantastic, especially after a long journey. Breakfast and dinner buffet were excellent. Mostly Japanese food but there are a few choices for those who don't like Japanese food. For me, the meals were great. Sushi, Sashimi, lots of different choices. A true test of Japan. Never had the same thing twice as there were too many choices. Not to mention they had beer, sake and some other alcohols available as part of the buffet. Didn't see anyone abusing the access which is good. The only thing to mention is if you are traveling from Tokyo and are returning there, it would be good to only take a smaller portion of your belongings (send your larger cases to your next hotel) as the rooms are not equipped with closets or drawers so you will be living out of your suitcase. Really wasn't a problem with our two large suitcases. Nice walking path in the back of the facility. Strongly recommend taking a taxi or uber from the train station with your suitcases. We road the bus there which was standing room only along a a very twisty mountain road, OVERALL - WONDERFULL"

"This was the best place we stayed after visiting three different areas. There was plenty of space for our whole family and upgrade features were nice. The hot tub/cold plunge area was amazing and I can't say enough good things. This location is a bit remote, so we struggled to get larger ride shares, but there was plenty of room for us and luggage on an early morning bus ride. Restaurants close early and there is no konbini nearby. Perfect location for the Hakone Loop."
