The weather was very hot and the air conditioner in the room was struggling, but we managed OK. Breakfast is very nice for 12 Euro, and the pool was welcome in the hot weather, but for some strange reason you have to wear a cap in the pool. I have not experienced this anywhere in the world before.

Ideally located in the heart of Vicenza and only a 10-15 minute walk from Vicenza train station. 15 mins if carrying a backpack. Well I totally botched up our booking and didn’t realise until just before we were due to arrive. I explained our dilemma on arrival and the concierge was very understanding and helpful. Room was fantastic, great amenities, exceptionally clean and a quiet and efficient air conditioner. Lovely continental breakfast. Definitely recommend Palazzo Otello. Safe area and...
