"The Villas at LOFOS SOILIS are very nice. The apartments themselves are very clean and in a great location set in the middle of an Olive Grove. The villas all have their own private covered veranda. The terrace which is fringed by a number of tables where breakfast is served, and also evening meals, has a wonderful panoramic view of the surrounding hills and sea across to Kefalonia. "The overall stay was enjoyable but the villa was advertised as 'luxury' and we feel this isn't quite the case. The area in which the villa is situated is lovely, secluded and quiet but within the villa its self the kitchen is under equipped with the bare minimum utensils, pots, pans etc. There were no 'pantry' items at all tea, coffee, salt, herbs, etc The patio furniture was very old and cushion covers were ripped. There was definately a problem with ants in the villa especially in the upstairs...

"We wanted a month to just do nothing and re-set. This place was perfect. A lovely, friendly, family run affair with one daughter on reception, another daughter in the restaurant and Mum cooking. The grounds and pool are kept beautifully and the villa facilities are adequate, plus it's so convenient to have the restaurant on site. (And Aliki's cooking is great!) Its a 15min walk down through olive groves to the nearest beach and about half an hour to the next bay. My only negative would be that...
