"Easy to find just outside the gates of Smith Lake Park. Cabin is right next to the boat launch parking and restroom but the boat launch is further to the left. No issues at all from sound or problems with either. The view out to the lake is stunning and the cabin is nicely equipped and very cozy. We loved it and will be back."

"Great house, beautiful location. Serene, secluded, and relaxing environment. The kayaks were great, and we caught fish from the pier. Overall 5 start experience and we'd absolutely stay here again. "

"Great home for family gathering. We always do lake properties and definitely loved "no steps" to the dock! Its still a steep walk but so doable for the great grandparents. Plenty of First floor sleeping is also a plus. The 2nd floor falmily ready rooms were perfect for the parents and 3-7 yr ols to be in rooms together. The kitchen dining and back porch had more that ample space for littl ones and grown ups. The livingroom also had more seating space than many of the VRBOs we've been to. Beds were super comfy, and gotta say the upstairs gameroom was a life saver when the always busy energized young ones had more than 5 minutes inbetween eating, boating,fishing and playing porch games and had to be occupied. Overall, one of the best Alabama, lake front with a dock and slip for our pontoon boat, and room for the family. We were able to put grandmas and great grandmas homecooked meals in the commercial fridge. Ice machine worked its butt off too. Way too much to say about this place but if you are looking this type of gathering, book it now!"

"Emerald Escape is a beautifully decorated and comfortable home. We were very comfortable and had everything we needed. The communication from the owner was top notch. The view was so beautiful and peaceful! It is a great place to get away and enjoy Smith Lake. "
