"Kind of back off of the main road. Building a little dated but room was very clean , breakfast was hot and very good with lots of choices. The elevator makes a screeching noise when opening or closing , needs some maintenance badly. Would stay there again. "

"Check in easy, room was clean. We were on the road for 12 hours very tired. We went to bed around 8 at 11:45 pm approximately -my spouse woke me the smoke alarm above was making a loud “ thud-thud,” etc & steady noise it was leaking water, carpet wet tried to call and phone totally dead. Had to use my phone to call front desk. The guy asked me what to do I said go upstairs above our room see why water is coming thru the smoke alarm onto our floor. We were so tired and had to get up and leave by 6:30. Am. He said he was alone and new & seemed unprepared. Told him also of dead phone. He did offer to move us but at 12 midnight we were extremely tired said no ( we are in our 70’s) he said he would call us back and update us I said no we are so tired and need to sleep. When I checked out told new staff what happened and dead phone said sorry but no reimbursement -anyway it was not restful. We continued our journey -tired. When we come home likely won’t stay there. Told staff in am -the carpet is wet with a wet bath towel on top of wet carpet to stop the thud thud noise of dripping water. Strange night "

"The breakfast was excellent. We were disappointed that the restaurant in the hotel was closed until Tuesday (and it says open every day). That was one reason we chose the hotel - thought we could have a drink and unwind for the evening. The front desk staff could not recommend any good restaurants nearby - which always amazes me that they don't know the area. The pullout couch was actually very comfortable. However the mattress pad and blanket were dirty so we had to request a new one and it was cleaner. It was a quick stay overnight on our way through town and the price was great. So - mixed reviews but was not terrible."

"Staff was very friendly. The room was clean. Breakfast options were minimal compared to other places. The price was reasonable. We would stay here again if going through Birmingham. "

"This was an overnight stop on a trip to the coast. Adequate and safe, breakfast was typical waffles/cereal/sausage and eggs and was located close to restaurants, Walmart, etc. As with most places there aren’t enough staff. Standard Room was clean and very comfortable. A good value. "

"I only ate the complimentary breakfast once while I stayed there. It was a very good breakfast. My room was nice, although my sheets were never changed. I only "allowed" housekeeping in my room once. They left it clean, but did not replace the coffee, so I only had coffee there once. (There was still the decaf coffee left) I would definately stay there again. "
