"Great location, not too far from Matera Centrale and the piazza is just round the corner. The room is clean, with coffee and tea provided. The breakfast spread is excellent, especially the pastries. "

However, guests should know that because the hotel is literally incorporated into the caves, it can be physically demanding climbing all the stone stairs. Staff helpful in scheduling City tour, but when could not locate tour guide, had difficulty helping to make connection. "
