Simple loggings very convenient for the Old Town. Good shower room cleaned everyday. Good air con. We had a twin standard room which was small and had no where to unpack your clothing other than a small rail and a shelf which housed the safe, no floor space to have your cases open, but we got by and stayed happily for one week. What we would have really liked is a small fridge and hot drink making facilities but to be fair to them we knew they were not included. Definitely worth a stay !!

Great property in the middle of Antibes. Our room overlooked the pastry shop next door, and we often had musicians playing in the street below us in the morning. Easy walking distance to the beach and marina area. Plenty of good food and drink nearby.

Clean, small, simple room at affordable price and very convenient for exploring Antibes and day trips to nearby cities. Easy walk to train station and conveniently located in old town area.

We had a lovely stay at the Modern Hotel. Our room was clean and comfortable with a beautiful view of the street below. My only comment would be that the pillows could be more comfortable or even just more of them. Regardless, it was a pleasant stay with friendly staff and a perfect location. We fell in love with Antibes so will definitely be back.

Great staff and location. The staff was very helpful. The location is on a walking street and only a 10 min walk from the train station. Everything was clean and maintained.

The price you pay for this hotel with its location is worth its weight in gold. Everything you need is on your doorstep. Location is the most important thing when choosing a hotel and Modern is the best in Antibes for location. The hotel is run by really nice people. The breakfast is lovely for €7. It’s in the heart of Antibes so don’t expect a day in bed, I would save money on more expensive hotels and spend it on the delights of this beautiful part of the world. And I didn’t get a single mosquito bite!

Pleasant hotel in good location.
Hotel is in a good location. Room cleaned and fresh towels provided daily. Friendly staff. It is an old hotel which adds to its charm and everything was neat and tidy. One small complaint is that the pillows are too hard.

It's a clean but very very old building. No elevator. Only soap for two nights was 2 X 7 ml sachets of shower gel.

This hotel was really disappointing and gross. The paint on the walls were chipped. There were black stains above the air conditioner like there was mold. The air conditioner barely worked and the rooms felt constantly stuffy and muggy. The hotel lobby and hallways was dark with poor lighting. The lighting flickered and the plumbing made strange noises. Yes it was inexpensive but I wouldn’t book again. You could get a bigger cleaner room on Airbnb for the same price.

Great little hotel well situated for old Antibes plus train station to get you to Monaco, Cannes and Nice … all along the Cotes d’Azur. It’s a little basic but exceptionally clean and friendly people. The perfect base if you want to go exploring.

Very charming older hotel, very clean and in a wonderful safe area of old Antibes. Staff was very pleasant, off a main street but within a block of bakeries, brasseries, and other charming buildings, lots of color and flowers everywhere. I would highly recommend it unless you want a charmless Holiday Inn.

We got an addex with a separate entrance from the hotel. No wifi. A nice two-storey room with the best bathroom ever. Unfortunately the bathroom did not have doors nor walls as it was on the second etage. So if you want a romantic flair, this is not your room.

Es war alles sehr angenehm und für diesen Preis kann man wirklich nichts sagen. Ist mitten im Zentrum von Antibes und man kann sehr schnell zu Fuss zum Strand gehen.

Lovely authentic hotel in the heart of the old tow
Perfect location right in the heart of the old town. Nice smaller style hotel at a good price. There are lots of stairs if you're someone who who has difficulty climbing but it's an old building and part of the charm.

Perfect simple character hotel
Easy check in as we arrived late we were given instructions and they worked perfectly The room basic but didn’t expect much more for the price and location. The Location was perfect! Staff were lovely and friendly. Our room looked over the narrow old street which was a dream. We would definitely stay again

The Modern Hotel
Good value for money. It was in a good location near to the beach and the many bars and restaurants. The room was rather small, but everything was clean and tidy. The proprietor was bit abrupt.

Unless every hotel in the Riviera is closed-don't
An inhospitable place, hard beds and pillows, rags for towels in the bathroom that should have been changed years ago, no lighting on the steep and winding stairs and no lift. Very possibly the worst hotel I have ever stayed in- clearly not one penny is ploughed back into this place that seems to be operational only whilst being run into the ground. There is a live music venue just outside on one side and on the other side it backs onto the bus station which is used as a place for the homeless to drink and hang out in. Very unpleasant experience all round. Also as a single person I was charged two person city tax!!

"l'ascenseur manque mais c'est signalé dans le descriptif de l'hôtel. impossible d'annuler la fête de la musique pour vous ou quiconque La critique est si facile Dommage que l'hôtelier ne puisse pas mettre des commentaires sur l'état dans lequel il retrouve ses chambres!!!!

The hotels is excellently situated near the vibrant part of Antibes. The room was clean comfortable with amenities as expected. Reception staff were friendly and helpful so would not hesitate in recommending this hotel

It is an older building with limited features. but the location is great and staff good. So we rate it average and just fine for a one-night stay. Nothing fancy but the price matches the comforts. So we are not complaining at all. This is a budget hotel for backpackers like us.
